Apply Now for 2026 Freight Support Programme

As the deadline approaches, the continued insecurity about fuel supply, logistics security, and rising freight costs remain a significant export hurdle for Pacific Island entrepreneurs.
PTI NZ’s 2026 Freight Support Programme (FSP) is expressly designed to assist exporters.
As it did last year for Tahitian Import Export, a Tahitian goods company.
They write: “We are grateful for the assistance received through the freight support programme. By helping to offset the high cost of air freight from Tahiti to New Zealand, the support reduced our export costs and enabled our continued growth in international markets, contributing to significant sales growth.”
Fairtrade Company Ltd (trading as SolPacific Timber), a Solomon Islands–owned forestry and timber company also took advantage of the opportunity last year, writing:
“On behalf of Fairtrade Company Limited trading as SolPacific Timbers, I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the support and assistance you have provided to our timber milling operations. Your generous support in subsidizing the freight charges has significantly eased our logistical challenges and contributed positively to our overall efficiency.”
