Bunnings to launch online store for Fiji customers

Australian hardware giant Bunnings will soon launch a dedicated online store for customers in Fiji.

Bunnings already services wholesale clients in the Pacific, but will now offer some 20,000 products directly to customers, including MSMEs.

Bunnings Managing Director, Mike Schneider, said: “We’ve been servicing a number of Pacific markets for many years and with the strength and scale of our digital transformation, it makes sense to expand this into these markets.

“Fiji, with its significant population and strong tourist economy, is a natural start point for this important next step in widening our addressable market and bringing more value for customers into the Pacific region. It also creates new growth opportunities for our suppliers.

“In assessing the Fijian market, it was clear we can utilise capabilities we know well – including supply chain, logistics and digital experience – to launch an online store, deliver what local customers want and refine the experience over time. “

Products available to Fijian customers will include power and hand tools, garden maintenance equipment, electrical items, home security, cleaning and more.

Orders will be fulfilled from Bunnings’ Australian distribution centre and delivered through international shipping partners. Delivery times will be longer than local purchases, and this is clearly communicated at checkout and through order updates.

The online store will be live soon at bunningspacific.com.fj
